Buying old parts online: Being safe!
1) If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. Be aware, just as in the real world there are scams online, if an offer sounds to good to be true, it is probably not a safe buy.
2) Use a safe purchase service such as i-Escrow, Inc., TradeMaker LLC & TradeSafe or simalar service, there are several of these services available now. These services allow you to buy and sell products online from classified ad website as safely as possible and they protect both the buyer and seller, but they do charge a fee for the service.
